Helping Hand’s First Day Total Is $6,324

Paris, Tenn.–The first day of the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction was a busy one, with 17 slates of items donated and $6,324 raised. As Auctioneer Jamie Orr said, “It was a great start to this year’s auction”. Donating today’s items were Lakeway Kiwanis and the Paris Lions Club. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center from January 12 through March 4 and you can participate and/or watch in several ways: You can listen on one of our radio stations, WHNY 104.7FM or 1000 AM or listen on our website at HenryCountyNow.com or the Henry County Helping Hand website at https://www.hchelpinghand.org/ Auction phone number is 644-1695. The auction begins on the weekdays at 12:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at noon. Helping with the phones today were members of the Athena Delphian group. Groups donating Tuesday are: Henry County Fair Association, Henry County Masonic/OES, Paris Academy for the Arts, Paris First United Pentecostal Church, and Moose Lodge.
