The following is a press release from Murray State University:
Murray State University received an email this morning, indicating a bomb threat to a campus library. While we believe it is likely that this is a hoax, out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing the following buildings immediately:
Pogue Library
Waterfield Library
Carr Hall
Ruby Simpson
New Fine Arts
Old Fine Arts
Applied Sciences Building
Lowry Center
Classes inside these buildings will be cancelled for the remainder of today.
At this time, please avoid the above area until further notice.
The Murray State University Police Department, along with relevant personnel, are investigating the situation currently. We will continue to provide updates as needed.
