Gibson County, Tenn.–The fire which destroyed a home in Gibson County Sunday is being investigated as an arson.
At 2:27 Sunday afternoon Gibson County Fire Department along with Milan Fire Department were paged to a structure fire on Cades Atwood road. The caller told Central Dispatch that the house was abandoned and firefighters were later told if the address that was given was the correct address that there was a elderly female living there that wouldn’t have been able to get out. Firefighters determined upon arrival the house was vacant but it was a total loss. The is being investigated as an arson. If anyone has any information please call GCFD at 731-723-9228.
