Paris, Tenn.–Scout Pack 28 is at it again, strengthening its tradition of service through this year’s Scouting for Food project. The Cub Scouts assembled and delivered 24 food boxes for seniors in the Henry County community, ensuring local older adults receive much-needed support during the holiday season.
Thanks to generous donations from Prairie Farms, McCartney Produce, First United Methodist Church, and contributions collected during the pack’s Scouting for Food event, each box was filled with essential pantry staples and fresh items.
Pack 28 Cubmaster Lee McDaniel shared that this year’s effort has reached farther than ever before. “This year’s Scouting for Food service project has been a huge success,” McDaniel said. “The pack has been able to contribute to Tomorrow’s Hope, the Little Food Pantries of Tennessee, and our senior food boxes. Our Scouts are learning what it truly means to give back.”
The pack continues to build on its mission of service, teamwork, and community engagement, one act of kindness at a time.
