Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center invites families to celebrate the holiday season on Sunday, December 7, with Photos with Santa and The Wizards of Winter, starting at 1 PM and 3 PM respectively.
The Wizards of Winter’s high-energy Holiday Rock Opera, The Christmas Dream, combines the musical intensity and stage theatrics of classic rock with the heartwarming spirit of Christmas. Featuring former members of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Def Leppard, Blue Öyster Cult, Trixter, Alice Cooper, and Broadway veterans, this 12-member ensemble delivers soaring vocal harmonies, precision strings, powerful percussion, and stunning keyboard work.
Audiences will embark on a musical journey in search of the true meaning of Christmas, filled with rock anthems, emotional ballads, and even a surprise visit from Mrs. Claus. With its mix of festive storytelling and family-friendly fun, The Wizards of Winter promises an afternoon of excitement and holiday cheer for all ages.
Before the show from 1:00-2:30P, families are invited to join Santa for a photo op and hot cocoa and cookies, a special pre-show celebration that’s included with your ticket to The Wizards of Winter.
Tickets for The Wizards of Winter are on sale now for $30 plus taxes. A goodie bag is included with every ticket purchase for a child.
