Friends of Land Between the Lakes – The Woodlands Nature Station invites Cub Scout dens, packs, and families to the Woodlands Nature Station on November 15 from 10am—3pm for Cub Scout Day: Champions for Nature.
This year, Cub Scouts of all levels—Lions through Arrow of Light—will be working towards their Champions for Nature Adventure. Scouts will learn about natural resources, endangered species, recycling, and more through hands-on activities led by naturalists and volunteers.
A full schedule of activities and details on the requirements covered can be seen on the Land Between the Lakes website.
Nature Station staff recommends planning at least a two hour visit to complete all the required activities. All programming is included with Nature Station admission, which is $7 for ages 16+ and free for ages 15 and under. Questions about this event can be directed to 270-924-2299 or abarr@friendsoflbl.org.
The Woodlands Nature Station is located in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area at 3146 Silver Trail Road, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211.
