Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Tourism Authority Thursday increased its financial support for the Tennessee River Jam that will allow organizers more leeway in seeking out artists for the annual event.

Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee Assistant Director Tara Wilson said the HCTA approved the $175,000 in total support, an increase from $100,000. “We have not yet finalized any artists yet, but now with financial commitment we will be working on that diligently to have that announcement soon hopefully!” she said.

The next event is the first week of June 2026.

HCTA members heard a report from former Paris-Henry County Chamber Director Rachel Steedly on the importance of tourism to the local economy and how much money the Jam has brought into Henry Co.
