Cub Scout Pack 28 is proud to kick off its annual Scouting for Food campaign this October, helping to fight hunger and support families right here in the local community. Residents of Paris and the surrounding area are invited to donate non-perishable food items at six convenient drop-off locations throughout the city.
Donation bins can be found at:
- Security Bank – Mineral Wells Branch
- Security Bank – Lake Highway Branch
- Security Bank – Washington Street Branch
- Stockdale’s
- Hulme’s Sporting Goods
- Cash Saver
All donations collected will go to local food pantries and organizations that serve families in need during the holiday season.
“This is a great opportunity for our scouts to give back and for the community to come together for a worthy cause,” said Lee McDaniel, Pack 28 Cubmaster. “Every can, every box of pasta, it all helps.”
The food drive runs through the entire month of October.
Suggested donations include canned vegetables and fruits, soups, peanut butter, pasta, rice, and other shelf-stable goods. Please check expiration dates before donating.
Help us make a difference—drop off your donations today and support Pack 28’s mission to serve and lead in our community.
