Murray, Ky.–A Murray man was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger was seriously hurt after a single-vehicle collision in Calloway County.
On Friday, Oct 10, 2025, just after 6 pm, Calloway County deputies responded to a single vehicle collision in the 4400 block of Pottertown Road. The GMC Sierra appeared to have left the roadway to the left, colliding with a cement culvert and ditch.
The driver, 41-year-old Zachary Rayburn of Murray, was pronounced dead at the scene. The juvenile passenger was taken by helicopter at the scene to a Nashville hospital to be treated for what appeared to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
