Hazel, Ky.–The Hazel Women’s Club will serve as Grand Marshals for the 35th annual Hazel Day Celebration this weekend. The Women’s Club is celebrating its 60th year serving the Hazel community.
The celebration will be held Friday and Saturday, October 10-11, with the main day being Saturday. The event includes a grand parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, with live music, vendors, car show, petting zoo, photo contest, sales at the local antique shops and more.
The Sticky Sweet Sugar Beats will kick things off Friday afternoon with live music, followed by a community movie night.
Saturday starts with the annual pancake breakfast, with a cake walk, foam pit, pony rides, Tug Of War contest and the James Greer Band, plus the car show, petting zoo and vendors.
