Martin, Tenn.–Michele Norris (left), an award-winning journalist, New York Times bestselling author and former Washington Post columnist, was the guest speaker at the third annual Dr. Henry H. Parker Speaker Series and Legacy Luncheon, held Sept. 26 in the Russell Duncan Ballroom of the Boling University Center. Norris is shown having a one-on-one interview onstage with Dr. Henri Giles, assistant professor of African American studies and the coordinator of the Parker Speaker Series, following Norris’ program, where she spoke about her experiences as a journalist and author.
