Paris, Tenn.–Some 170 people toured the historic Paris Cemetery and heard ‘Tales From The Crypt’ Saturday afternoon. In photo, volunteer Marge Barrows directs one group on which way to go, while two volunteers dressed in period costumes stand by. In all, the Henry County Cemetery Committee and its volunteers told the tales of 11 Henry Countians. In addition, the Rev. Kenneth Humphreys told the story of the African-American monument, which honors the dozens who are buried in unmarked graves in the cemetery. Mary Ann Claxton photo.
