Commercial Bank and Trust is announcing the return of the 42nd annual “Noon on the Square,” bringing live music, lunch, and community connection to downtown Paris for the first four Fridays of October. The event is free to the public, with proceeds from lunch sales benefitting local nonprofits.
Noon on the Square will kick off on October 3, with music from Johnny Mac and Quota Club being the featured nonprofit benefitting from proceeds of lunch sales. Since 1960, the Quota Club has provided scholarships to local students. Additionally, Froggy 103.7 will be broadcasting live from the event; a live feed can be accessed on their website at froggy103.com.
Noon on the Square’s second line up will be on October 10 and feature Randall French. Lunch proceeds will benefit Henry County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA is an organization dedicated to providing court-based advocacy for abused and neglected children.
The Backroad Truckers will headline Noon on the Square on October 17, and lunch that week will be served by the Tosh Farms cooking team. All proceeds will support the featured nonprofit for that week, Mary’s Kids, an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through resources and support.
Wrapping up the final Noon on the Square on October 24 is the Ray Lewis Band. The Paris Elks Lodge will serve lunch, and the proceeds raised will go towards Project HELP (Handicapped, Elderly, and Low-income Persons). Project HELP is a local program that provides utility assistance to people with disabilities, the elderly, and those with low incomes.
Each Noon on the Square event runs from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the courthouse square in downtown Paris. The address is 101 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242. Additional information will be posted on the CBTC Paris Facebook page at facebook.com/CBTCParis.
