
Paris, Tenn.–Candidates for the office of Henry County Commissioner District 4 may present their resumes to the Henry County Mayor’s office until October 14. Long-time Commissioner Dell Carter announced at the September meeting he is resigning from the commission due to health reasons.
The term will end in August 2026 when the next Henry County General Election is held. All candidates must be present at the Henry County Commission meeting on Monday, October 20, to make a five-minute presentation.

HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 4
Resumes and statements of interest are being accepted until Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the office of the Henry County Mayor, PO Box 7, 101 W. Washington Street, Paris, TN 38242 or they may be emailed to jgallimore@henrycountytn.org. The candidate must be a resident of District 4 to be eligible. The term will end in August 2026 when the next Henry County General Election is held. All candidates must be present at the Henry County Commission meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 5PM in the Henry County Courthouse. Each candidate may speak to the County Commission for five minutes or less.
