Paris, Tenn.–Dr. David Webb, Henry County Commissioner for the 5th District, has been appointed to the Tennessee County Services Association (TCSA) Education Committee.
Since 1954, TCSA has served as the statewide voice for Tennessee’s county commissioners, mayors/executives, and highway superintendents. The association advocates on issues such as education funding, school choice, legislative reform, and new initiatives that directly impact local governments and schools.
Dr. Webb is a long-standing member of the Tennessee County Commissioners Association and holds the designation of Certified Public Administrator through the University of Tennessee’s Institute for Public Service. He has served on the Henry County Board of Commissioners for 27 years and worked in the Henry County School System for more than three decades. At Henry County High School, he has taught U.S. Government and a variety of history courses, while also serving as Social Studies Department Chair and Lead Teacher.
“I am honored to represent county commissioners and to bring the perspective of educators to the TCSA Education Committee,” Webb said. “This role allows me to advocate for our schools and help ensure that state-level decisions reflect the needs of students, teachers, and communities across Tennessee.”
