
Obion County, Tenn.–A Rives woman has been charged with first degree murder and is being held in the Obion County Jail. Gloria Ann Jenkins is being charged with the shooting death of her husband, Paul Jenkins.
On September 16, 2025, at approximately 12:45 PM the Obion County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call from a residence outside Rives, Tennessee. The caller, Gloria Ann Jenkins, reported that she had shot her husband, Paul Jenkins, at their home. Deputies arrived at the scene and confirmed that Paul Jenkins was deceased.
Gloria Ann Jenkins was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Obion County Jail. She has been charged with First-Degree Murder and is scheduled for arraignment on September 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Obion County Courthouse.
Allegations of prior domestic issues have been raised by family members; however, no formal reports of domestic abuse involving the deceased have been documented with law enforcement.
