HUNTINGDON, Tenn.–A Carroll County correctional office has been charged with assault stemming from an incident involving an inmate.
Jordan Patrick Hughes, age 39, was booked into the Carroll County Jail Tuesday and released upon payment of bail set at $1,000.
A grand jury charged him with intentionally causing bodily injury to the inmate when he allegedly entered the inmate’s cell and sprayed him with pepper spray.
He will appear before Judge J. Brent Bradberry on October 2.
