9/11 Memorial Stair Climb: Picture Worth A Thousand Words

dpa-michael-reeves

Union City, Tenn.–A fitting example of what it means when they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Michael Reeves, a firefighter with the Union City Fire Department and former Discovery Park of America employee, took part in Saturday’s 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Climbers ascend Cooper Tower 10 times to equal the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. On his final climb, Michael carried his son in his arms — a powerful reminder of the legacy of courage that continues from one generation to the next.
