Obion County, Tenn.–A 43-year-old Obion County man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday.
According to the preliminary report released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the accident claimed the life of Bobby H. Payne. The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Hwy. 51 near Allie Campbell Rd.
Payne was operating a 2015 Honda Civic and driver of the other vehicle was 42 year old David Dean, of Tennessee, driving a 2025 GMC Sierra truck. Dean was uninjured. Dean was wearing a seat belt and Payne was not.
Highway Patrol reports are always sketchy and do not list how accidents happen or report where people involved in accidents are from.
No charges were filed in the accident.
