Union City, Tenn.–The Obion County Fairgrounds are buzzing this week with activity as the Fair continues through Saturday. Obion County Mayor Steve Carr spoke to a group of homeschooled students gathered at the fairgrounds as well as the county’s third grade students. “The topic was citizenship and how we can be good citizens. We had a great time together” Carr said. Meanwhile, the Obion County Chamber of Commerce met for its monthly “Cup Of Joe” breakfast meetings at the fairgrounds. Chamber Director Lindsay Theobald said, “We heard details of all events lined up this week from President Blake Laws and all the fun things that have already happened.” In photo, Carr addresses students at the fairgrounds.
