Four teachers in the Union City School System officially received tenure status during the regular monthly board meeting Monday morning.
Natalie Noles (Kindergarten-UC Elementary), Joe Davis (Band-UC Middle), Lindsey Hayslett (5th grade ELA-UCMS), and Nick Markle (US History-UC High School) were formally recognized by Director of Teachers and Learning Lance Morgan.
Assistant board chairman Scott Gilliam – in the absence of chairman Cathy Waggoner – put the UCSB’s official stamp on the move.
The four were initially granted tenure in April of the 2024-25 school year, upon completing five years of teaching in the school system.
