Union City, Tenn.–Congratulations to Pete Kennedy on winning both the $500 in the nightly drawing and the Pick Tennessee Products basket Sunday night at the Obion County Fair. Mitchell Goree won the $500 drawing in our Saturday night drawing and Jon-Paul McTurner won the Pick Tennessee Products Basket. Nightly drawings are held every night of the Fair, which goes from August 15 through 23.
Today is a busy day at the fair with the Grand Opening and Hal of Fame ceremonies, pultry show and auction, duck calling contest, the Fairshow Musical, AC 43 concert and Super Endurocross. And the Carnival opens at 6 pm.
There also are Livestock Shows set through the week, with the Junior Livestock Auction set for Tuesday night. Come cheer on our local 4-H & FFA exhibitors as they showcase cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and poultry! Hunter Miller Livestock Barn Included with fair admission.
