Jackson, Tenn.–Officer Troutt, Officer Drown, and Officer Compton of the Jackson Police Department received a Letter of Commendation from United States Marshal Tyreece Miller and Chief Duty Edge today at the James D. Todd U.S Courthouse for their exceptional heroism in capturing Austin Drummond on August 6, 2025. Marshal Miller praised Officer Troutt, Officer Drown, and Officer Compton for their service on that day. Drummond was on the run for a week after a quadruple murder and was found in Jackson.
