Paris, Tenn.–In May, the Paris Board of Public Utilities (BPU) announced a major long-term water rehabilitation project in the Downtown and west Paris areas.
BPU is now moving forward with improvements into the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood: Dunlap St., Aden St., Thompson St., Head St., and Jackson St. areas.
This 13-month project includes installing new water mains and service lines to help strengthen and modernize our water infrastructure.
What to Expect:
-Temporary road and sidewalk closures
-Occasional brief water interruptions or air in water lines
-On-site construction activity — please use caution and obey all posted signage for everyone’s safety
BPU says its team is working closely with contractors to minimize disruptions. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important upgrade,” they said.
