DYER COUNTY, TN [July 31, 2025] – The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 1:00pm on July 31, 2025, on Lyte Circle in the Middle City Community, located west of Dyersburg.
The suspect, identified as Craig Bolden a 19 year old black male, has been charged with attempted First Degree Murder in relation to the shooting of a 19 year old female. He was taken into custody by the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, listed in critical condition, was flown from the scene to a Level One Trauma Center for medical treatment.
Witnesses were present inside the residence at the time of the incident, and the investigation is ongoing. Additional charges may be forthcoming as more information is gathered and the investigation continues.
It is important to note that this incident is unrelated to the current quadruple homicide investigation in Lake County and the active manhunt for suspect Austin Robert Drummond.
