DYER COUNTY, Tenn. -The identities of the four people found dead in Lake County have been identified and according to investigators, they are family members of the baby who was abandoned in Dyer County.

District Attorney Danny Goodman Jr., who serves both Dyer County and Lake County, said those four people were the child’s parents, Adrianna Williams and Matthew Wilson; the baby’s maternal grandmother, Cortney Rose; and the child’s maternal uncle, 15-year-old Braydon Williams.

Goodman told Fox 13 in Memphis he believes those four people were the target of the incident and believes their murders are an isolated event.

A spokesperson for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday that agents were still searching for a “suspect or suspects” in the case.

Wednesday, FOX13 crews saw agents pulling two cars out of the wooded area in Lake County where authorities discovered the bodies.

As previously reported, authorities found the child just after 3 p.m. on July 29, left in the yard of a home on Old Highway 20 near the Tigrett area. The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office said someone in a dark-colored minivan or a white mid-size SUV abandoned the infant in a car seat before driving off. A witness saw the child and called 911.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box issued a statement Tuesday, expressing his heartache over this tragic situation, stating, “This is a deeply saddening day for our community. We are committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served.”
