
Paris, TN – Terry Wimberley, Paris BPU President & CEO, was installed as the Tennessee Municipal Electric Power Association Board Chairman at the annual meeting in Nashville on July 10, 2025. Wimberley holds the position for the second time in the past 6 years and will serve a one-year term.
“I am honored to, once again, lead the statewide association as we support municipal power providers in efforts to provide safe, reliable, and affordable energy,” said Wimberley. “In this role, I will also have opportunity to share the positive direction of Paris BPU with others across the state.”
TMEPA is a membership association of municipal and county electric power providers that provide electric services to customers across Tennessee. Their mission is to advocate for and advance the success of Tennessee municipal utility systems. By holding this role, Wimberley will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships with TVA and other local power companies across the state.
