The KPAC Players are hard at work getting ready for Disney Freaky Friday: A New Musical. The show dates are Friday, July 25 at 7 pm; Saturday, July 26 at 7 pm; and Sunday July 27 at 3 pm at Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris.
Based on the novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, the musical is licensed for production by Music Theatre International with credits including Bridget Carpenter for the book, Tom Kitt for the music, and Brian Yorkey for lyrics. Freaky Friday is the story of an overworked mother, played by Megan Allen, director of Renaissance Choir at Bethel University, and her teenage daughter, portrayed by Jocelyn Romines, a rising high-school senior and long-time KPAC vocal and theatre performer. The two magically swap bodies and have only one day to put things right again. The cast, including nineteen other performers of all ages, and our dedicated production staff invite you to join them for an amazing show.
Tickets are on sale at KriderCenter.com with adult admission at $12, senior adults at $10, and youth admission at $8. Tickets can also be purchased at the door with cash.
