Springville, Tenn.–The arena trusses were assembled this past week as the landscape of ABLE Farms changed dramatically. This is the original arena of Hoofbeats of Hope of Cottage Grove that was disassembled, moved, and now reassembled at its new home on the campus of ABLE Farms in Springville. Measuring over 70ft wide, 140ft long, and 29ft high at the apex, it will be the future home of ABLE Stables’ riding sessions and potentially even a gathering place for celebrations, dinners, and parties. Brother Randy Stephens said, “We are so excited that the weather has finally allowed for construction to begin. We anticipate further developments in the next few weeks to share with you!! Thank you for continuing to support the mission of ABLE Farms to create a space of belonging for people all abilities and backgrounds characterized by love and equality.” For scale, note that Kyle Stephens is standing below the arch of the newly-installed trusses in photo. ABLE Farms is the successor to Hoofbeats of Hope equine therapy program and is located at 1100 Sulphur Well Academy Rd. The Hoofbeats of Hope program was located in Cottage Grove for many years.
