Eva, Tenn.–The MTSU Center for Historic Preservation has announced its latest partnership to tell the story of the Trail of Tears. Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park is an excellent place to view the Water Route of the Trail at Pilot Knob, while there remains some of the actual road system taken by the Cherokees on the Benge Route within the park’s trails.
