McKenzie, Tenn.–Plans are underway for the second annual McKenzie High School Alumni Association (MHSAA) Decades Reunion. It will take place on September 19-20, 2025, in conjunction with the McKenzie High School football homecoming. Last year’s event drew an estimated 500 alumni to the city and more are expected this year.
All alumni as well as past faculty and staff of McKenzie High School are invited to attend the events of the weekend, including a golf scramble, memorabilia exhibit, tailgate party for all alumni prior to the football game against Camden at Rebel Stadium, the annual MHS homecoming parade, as well as other gatherings and events that are being planned.
Eight milestone reunions are being planned by respective class members for Saturday of the reunion weekend.
The MHSAA was established in 2023, and has since made financial contributions in support of programs at McKenzie Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, to help students in need. Annual Alumni Scholarships were first awarded in 2024 to help deserving graduates as they further their education.
Everyone is encouraged to mark their calendars, follow the McKenzie High alumni association Facebook page for updates, and help spread the word with their classmates and fellow graduates.
