GREAT NEWS!
Early this morning, special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Task Force N.O.A.H. and other partner agencies assisted Haywood County EMA in locating a missing man who had disappeared Monday while searching for his lost dog.
The missing man and his dog, Baxter were both found alive in a heavily wooded and swampy area. The man was transported to be medically evaluated. Baxter was safely returned to the command post where he was checked for injuries and given a much-needed bath by TBI agents.
This operation highlights the vital role that collaboration, training, and resource sharing play among committed partner agencies.
