Day 2 of the Independence Weekend Celebration continues today. Discovery Park will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Today’s festivities kick off with “The American Automobile” at 11 a.m., a new program in theTransportation Gallery, tracking the rise of the automobile and the impact of the United States on its evolution. Today, guests can join in for a community sing along of Patriotic Songs in The Chapel at 1:15 p.m.
Guests can also enjoy old-fashioned games, scavenger hunts and other family-friendly activities throughout the day. Veterans, active-duty military personnel and their immediate families receive free admission.
