Paris, TN – Dyersburg State Community College raised funds for the Henry County branch at the 2nd Annual Henry County Center Golf Tournament, at the picturesque Paris Landing State Park Golf Club in Paris, Tennessee. This year’s event provided an exhilarating golf day while successfully raising funds to support DSCC’s Henry County Center students.
Participants and sponsors alike came together for a fun-filled day of friendly competition, with local teams showcasing their skills on the green. The tournament culminated with Team Carson Ullrich, consisting of Rodney Moore, Austin Sullivan, Andrew McLemore, and Chris Edwards, taking home the first-place trophy. The second-place honors were awarded to Team TCAT Henry/Carroll, featuring Kallie Veazey, Doyle Robertson, Tyler Guy, and Gary Guy. At the same time, Team West TN Healthcare Henry Co Hospital, with members Tommy Hayes, Michelle Seaton, Ben Glover, and John Mark Gowan, secured third place.
Participants also participated in exciting contests throughout the tournament. The winners included Chris Edwards, who excelled in the Putting Contest, while Erin Welch claimed the title for the longest drive. Gary Walker took home first place in the Closest to the Pin Contest. Prizes were awarded to the winners, adding a vibrant competitive spirit to the day.
