Union City, Tenn.–A Union City man has been arrested after drugs and a firearm with the serial number removed were found at his residence.
On Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Union City, TN, a multiple agency operation was conducted by the Obion County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, TBI and Homeland Security out of Jackson, TN, assisted by Union City Police Department and Dyersburg Police Department. Obion County Sheriff’s Office SRT secured a residence and detained Jon Bailey Marvin, 22, of Union City, TN. Approximately 5 pounds of Marijuana and 9 ounces of Cocaine were seized from the residence along with a firearm with the serial number removed. Mr. Marvin was arrested and charges with Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule VI, Possesion with Intent to Sell Schedule II, and Possession of a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony. He is currently housed with no bond.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
