HUMBOLDT, TENN.  — The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce and West Tennessee Strawberry Festival President Danny Wade are proud to announce that Tyler Gamble has been selected as General Chairman of the 88th annual West Tennessee Strawberry Festival, set for May 3–9, 2026.

Appointed by President Danny Wade and the Chamber’s Board of Directors from a host of Festival chairs and volunteers, Gamble will assist in leading preparations for the historic community celebration and is slated to serve as Festival President for the 89th annual event in 2027.

“Selecting Tyler to be my General Chairman of the 88th West Tennessee Strawberry Festival was a no-brainer. He, his wife Emily and their children will continue the tradition, while growing wonderful Strawberry memories, “ said Wade.

A lifelong Humboldt resident, Gamble’s connection to the Festival runs deep. He has participated in the event since childhood with both of his parents heavily involved. As an adult he has continued this family tradition of service and leadership which now includes his own wife Emily and their children. Both his parents served as Festival President — making Tyler’s selection a proud moment for the entire family.

“Tyler has deep roots in our community, and I’m genuinely excited to work alongside him as the General Chairman of the 88th West Tennessee Strawberry Festival. His lifelong connection to Humboldt, paired with the expertise he brings from his professional background, will be invaluable as we continue to grow this cherished West Tennessee tradition. We are honored that Tyler has accepted this role and look forward to the vision and leadership he’ll bring as President of the 89th Festival!” said Beth Culpepper, Managing Director of the West TN Strawberry Festival.

The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival, founded in 1934, is one of the longest-running and most cherished events in the region. Drawing tens of thousands of visitors each spring, the weeklong celebration features parades, live music, arts and crafts, food vendors, children’s activities, and more — all set in the heart of downtown Humboldt.

As General Chairman, Gamble will work closely with Wade, Chamber staff, and community volunteers to plan and execute the 2026 Festival.
