Camden, Tenn.–Long-time Camden radio personality Ron Lane will be inducted into the 2025 Legacy Class of the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame. Lane is one of four individuals selected for induction in this year’s Legacy Class which pays tribute to prominent Tennessee radio icons posthumously.
Lane’s selection was announced Saturday during a meeting of the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame Board in Nashville.
Lane’s radio career spanned over 60 years, remaining an integral part of the local radio airwaves until his death in 2023.
Pamela Furr, President of the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame, said, “I know Ron Lane had a rich and important radio history in Camden and always promoted community events of all kinds on WFWL and WRJB. We’re proud to have him as a Class of 2025 Legacy Inductee and look forward to honoring him at our Induction Ceremony July 26.”
