
McKenzie, Tenn.–Ricky Price of McKenzie was sworn in as the new president of the McKenzie Rotary Club when it met for the annual election of officers. This marks a historic moment for the Club, with Price being the first African-American President for McKenzie Rotary.
Special recognition was given to Volunteer of the Year Susan Dyer for her work with the Interact Club of McKenzie; the Ed Perkins Humanitarian Award went to McKenzie Mayor Ryan Griffin and the Clark Brown Champion Award was presented to Junior Milam; and Past President Award to Christy Williams.
Price swore in his leadership team for 2025 – 2026: Vice President Armand Hebert; Secretary Jason R Martin; Sergeant at Arms Junior Milam; Fannie Baxter Moore Fund Ed Perkins; Treasurer Joe Neumair; Public Image Joel Washburn, and Rotary Foundation Demetra Perkins.
