Crews worked tirelessly through extreme heat, rough debris, and challenging terrain throughout Monday but were unable to locate the victim. Early Tuesday morning, our teams returned to McNairy County and were joined by Christian Ministries Search and Rescue.
At approximately 8:30 AM, crews resumed their search efforts with unwavering determination. Thanks to their persistence and dedication, the missing person was located alive around 4:30 PM and was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
During the search, two members of the search teams were overcome by heat and required medical treatment. “We are thankful they are recovering and deeply grateful for the positive outcome of this mission” Madison County EMS said. “We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all the departments, organizations, and individuals who gave their time, energy, and hearts to this operation. Your commitment and “never give up” attitude made all the difference.”
