
Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Board of Public Utilities and TEC will be celebrating the ‘First Light Up’ at Perry’s BBQ with a ribbon-cutting and community lunch and everyone is invited. The event will be held at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26.
Board of Public Utilities CEO Terry Wimberley said, “This marks a huge step forward for Henry County — faster internet is on the way! Come see the progress, enjoy the celebration, and witness how our community is growing stronger and more connected.”
“We’re officially lighting up our fiber network” with the special celebration at Perry’s BBQ, located at 401 E. Wood St., Paris, he said. “We’ll be celebrating a major milestone in bringing fast fiber internet to Paris and Henry County.”
The event will be the first chance for everyone to get a first look at the future of fiber internet in Paris and connect with business and local leaders.
The event is free and open to all.
