Congratulations to the 2025 Henry County Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship recipients Abbey Watkins, Remi Gardner, and Blaire Lamon and the 2025 Charles W. “Dickie” Brewer Scholarship recipient Brevin Hutson. The SWCD is immensely proud of what the students have accomplished and wishes them the best in the future endeavors.
Four $1,000 scholarships were given to Henry County students who plan to major in and pursue careers in agriculture or natural resources fields.
The Charles “Dickie” Brewer Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Brevin Hutson, who is a student at UT Martin, pursuing a degree in veterinary science and techology.
The SWCD scholarships were awarded to graduating HCHS seniors Abbey Watkins, Remi Gardner and Blaire Lamon.
Abbey will be attended UT Martin in the fall, majoring in agribusiness.
Remi will be attending Redlands Community College, majoring in ag communications.
Blaire will attend UT Martin in the fall, majoring in veterinary science.
