Paris, Tenn.–Entomologist Glenn Lee was surrounded by kids wanting to see his collection of beetles during his presentation on Insects and Pollinators at the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Botanical Garden Thursday morning. Lee brought many live specimens and other show and tell items. Beekeeper Bernie Leslie also spoke on what bees do for us during the Thursday program, which is sponsored by the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge and the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood. Accompanying them was ‘Ranger Sam’ from the refuge. A good-sized crowd and a good mix of young and older were on hand.
