Martin, Tenn.– Benjamin Conley of Union City (right), a 2025 bachelor’s degree recipient
in engineering and a cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, was inducted
into the Order of the Engineer. He is shown with Dr. Ali Nasirian, assistant professor
of engineering. The Order of the Engineer was established in 1970 to foster a spirit of pride and
responsibility in the engineering profession. In the ceremony, graduates and registered engineers
are invited to accept the Obligation of the Engineer and receive a stainless steel ring. For more
