Paris, Tenn.–Some 150 people from all over the local area participated in a ‘No Kings’ protest in downtown Paris Saturday morning. Protestors carrying signs gathered on the courtsquare, with a mix of young and older people up to the age of 80-plus participating. The protest was peaceful and joined with other ‘No Kings’ protests being held nationwide. The messages on signs included, “Let Freedom Ring”, “Save Our Democracy”, and “Democracy Not Dictatorship”.
