Honor freedom and unity with a day of reflection, music and educational activities at Discovery Park of America on June 14. They’re presenting performances that celebrate African American culture and history, including:
- 11 a.m. | Dino Hall – Welcome remarks from Scott Williams, president and CEO of Discovery Park of America.
- 11:05 a.m. | Dino Hall – Introduction by program MC Kameron Echols, director of multicultural affairs at UT Martin.
- 11:15 a.m. | Dino Hall – Rhythm Nation Line Dance Group, promoting health and empowerment through dance.
- 12 p.m. | Dino Hall – Discovery Park Community Choir debut performance, celebrating unity and resilience.
- 12:45 p.m. | Dino Hall – TruStory performance, honoring the spirit of Juneteenth.
Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy traditional red foods symbolizing cultural heritage and participate in educational activities for all ages. |
