Paris, Tenn.–After a morning of downpours, Mother Nature cooperated when it was needed the most as the crowds swayed and sang along to the tunes of Lonestar, pictured above. The free downtown Paris Tennessee River Jam concerts proceeded without a hitch, as crowds grew and grew all through the afternoon and evening for performances by Lonestar, Lewis Brice and Randall French and his All Star Band. Exact numbers will not be available until the first of this week, but Tara Wilson, Director of the Paris Downtown Association, said preliminary estimates are that some 5,000 were in attendance. Wilson also won the Chamber Champion Award during award presentations and said, “What a night for our community as we closed the book on the 2025 Tennessee River Jam! What an amazing time to see so many come together for such good! I am humbled beyond words to have received the Chamber Champion award.” The complete list of winners will be published later.
