McKenzie, Tenn.–Members of the McKenzie Fire & Rescue and Priority EMS were recognized for their life-saving work that resulted in the patient now being back home with his family.
On May 20, 2025, personnel from both McKenzie Fire Department First Responders and Priority EMS were summoned to a medical call. Upon their arrival the patient was responsive and talking to the personnel.
Upon loading the patient into the EMS unit, the patient took a turn for the worse and CPR was necessary to try to save the patients’ life. Due to the lifesaving efforts of these personnel, the patient was resuscitated and is now back at home with his family.
