Buchanan, Tenn.–An employee of American Sportfish Hatchery stocks Kentucky Lake with a net full of Florida Strain Bass fingerlings Thursday at Paris Landing State Park. Henry County Commissioner Monte Starks said this is the sixth year Henry and Benton Counties have partnered to put a total 300,000 fingerlings in waters between Paris Landing and the Birdsong area in Benton County. This makes around 1.5 million Florida Bass that have been released since this program started in 2019. The goal is to not only help stock the lake but to help increase the size of the bass.
