
Paris, TN –Henry County Hospital has officially reopened its newly remodeled Surgery Center, which is a major step forward in continuing to offer high-quality, outpatient surgical care to our community, according to hospital officials.
The newly remodeled West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Surgery is located at 1002 Cornerstone Dr., Suite B, in Paris. After more than three years of closure, the center reopened with its first surgeries performed on Monday, May 5, marking a major milestone in local healthcare.
Following an extensive renovation, the center has been transformed into a modern, state-of-the-art surgical facility designed to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient care for patients in Henry County and surrounding areas.
The new facility will offer a wide range of outpatient services, including general surgery, pain management procedures, orthopedics, urology, and more. It is home to a talented team of physicians including Dr. Beddies, Dr. Mobley, Dr. Harper, Dr. Phillips, Dr. Chandler, Dr. Compton, Dr. Stephens, and Chad Galle, CRNA.
Highlights of the new surgery center include:
- Enhanced Sterile Storage: Dedicated space to improve infection control practices. • Advanced Endoscopic Scope Washer: Ensures scopes remain disinfected for up to 30 days and prevents cross-contamination.
- Modern Sterilization Equipment: Includes a low-temperature sterilizer, high-end instrument washers, and two full-size autoclaves.
- Upgraded Patient Recovery Areas: Fully ADA-compliant post-anesthesia bays for increased accessibility and comfort.
- Improved Staff Facilities: Features include locker rooms, a doctor dictation area, and a welcoming waiting space for families.
- Fire Safety Enhancements: A new fire-resistant wall at the main entrance provides additional protection for patients and staff.
