A group of 38 students from Union City Elementary was recognized for having perfect attendance for the 2024-25 school year.
Special recognition for the honor went to third-grader Andrea Esteban Ortiz, who accomplished the feat for the third consecutive year.
Three first-grade students – Tyree Henry, Carson Holloman, and Jimena Godinez – were saluted for perfect attendance for back-to-back school years.
Ten young Tornadoes from the second and fourth grades were honored, while seven from the first and third grades received certificates for the accomplishment. Three were lauded from kindergarten, and one received the award from UCES’s Pre-K classes.
